Brother Derek Obrien joined Lodge Anima Glasgow 1223 on the 24th of January 1995. He took his first office on 1996-97 as Lodge Chaplin, then on 1997-98 he went in as Inner Guard, then on 1998-99 as Junior Deacon then on 1999-2000 as Senior Deacon. Brother Derek's work then took him away from the Lodge for 4 or 5 year's. On his return on 2008-09 he went into the Office of Senior Deacon. Then on 2009-10 Brother Derek took the office of Senior Warden, Brother Derek continues to work with the Lodge for the Lodge. Brother Derek has said he will be going into the chair on February 2010 where we know he will continue to work for the Lodge. And for that we thank him. Brother Derek took the office of Right Worshipful Master of Lodge Anima Glasgow 1223. On the 20th of February 2010 and we wish him all the best in his year in office
